Welcome! I'm Pastor Tom Colburn of the United by Faith Christian Church in Wyman, Michigan. We exist by the grace and will of God to bring the good news of the kingdom to our community and beyond. We are a happy, growing, family-oriented church striving to bring the love of God, through His people, into the experience of all who seek Him.
We enjoy a relaxed though reverent worship service with a pleasant blend of traditional and contemporary styles. We have a wonderful choir, a parlor grand piano, a synthesizer, a base and acoustic guitar. We sing a mix of traditional hymns and more contemporary songs and choruses. Our sanctuary resembles a country chapel and has a homey, family atmosphere.
We have a nursery as well as a youth program utilizing various learning tools which have included such things as a puppet ministry.
We are involved in community outreach in a number of ways including a food pantry, Angelfood ministry, Senior Dinners, C&C News and more. We also help sponsor a missions effort in the Philippines.
Sundays: CHURCH HOURS
Worship Service: 10:30am-Noon (First half hour Praise&Worship and geared youthful. We then segue into a more traditional service)
Junior Church: 11:00 am
Wednesdays:
Wednesday night Bible Study: 7pm (at the Church)
Thursdays:
Seniors 55+ Bingo for fun, cards, fellowship. Free meal. 11am-1:00pm meeting the second Thursday of every month.
READ the Church & Community News! We began printing this FREE monthly publication in March 2008 as a community service. We print, free of charge, church and community special events (from many area churches, not just ours) and local happenings from the Montabella Area (Edmore, Wyman, Blanchard, Six Lakes and Cedar Lake). It serves as the local, monthly newspaper. You can get your free copy at several area businesses or at your local church. If your church or business doesn't have it yet, ask them to contact us. High School Seniors. Apply for the United by Faith Christian Church's College Scholarship! Every year we offer a college scholarship to a graduating Senior who can best describe how their chosen career will help them serve their fellow man. The sky is the limit. We believe anyone can serve God and their fellow man whatever their vocation. See your school counselor for more info!
We are an independent Christian Church not affiliated with any denomination. We happily join with God's universal church to serve our Lord Jesus Christ and the will of God our Father.
